ARVC 213 Typography I Course Class Assignment – Expressive Word Signage

Students were asked to express the meaning of a given word by using typography. Emphasis was placed upon using the following attributes: Cut, Weight, Size and Placement. The final compositions were digitally artworked using Adobe Illustrator. The artwork was then used to cut the letterforms from black vinyl and applied to corbplast by a local signage company. The final solution took the form of a student signage exhibition installed on the college campus in a number of green spaces.
